Eligibility & Submission Rules
ELIGIBILITY
All student artists living within a radius of 100 miles are eligible to compete. Only original works which have been recently completed may be entered. Works which have been selected by a jury for any previous Fiesta Exhibitions will not be accepted.
MAXIMUM OF 5 ENTRIES MAY BE SUBMITTED
MEDIA AND SPECIFICATIONS
You may submit 5 original works. Copies of work or any published photographs will not be accepted. Anyone believing that an accepted work is a copy should obtain evidence and bring it to the attention of the exhibition committee. Artists are to indicate the CATEGORY in which their work is to be judged. Designate this where requested on the form.
ALL 2-D ARTWORK HAS A 9”-12” FRAME SIZE MINIMUM
Categories
Painting
Any medium on canvas or rigid panel not under glass and not to exceed 4 feet in any direction including the frame.
Sculpture/Construction
Any medium on canvas or rigid panel not under glass and not to exceed 4 feet in any direction including the frame.
Watercolor
Aqueous media, including tempera, casein, acrylic, executed on paper and suitably framed under glass or plexiglass, not to exceed 4 feet in any direction including the frame.
Graphics
Includes prints, pastels, collage, and drawings suitably framed under glass or plexiglass, not to exceed 4 feet in any direction including frame.
Crafts
Any work that is not 2-dimensional such as ceramics, weaving, batik, quilting, macrame, enameling, basketry, etc. No jewelry.
Photography
Photographs in color or black and white suitably framed under glass or plexiglass with hangers and not to exceed 4 feet in any direction including the frame.

Work will be accepted at Fiesta Central, 58-60 Public Square, W-B, PA.
Time - Saturday, April 18, 2026, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ONLY.
PICK UP ACCEPTED WORKS -
Public Square, Sunday May 17, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m
PICK UP NOT ACCEPTED WORKS - Sunday, May 17, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. and Monday, May 18, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Fees, Sales, and Insurance
Liability
All entries will be insured against loss or damage at the owner’s insurance valuation during the course of the exhibition. MAXIMUM INSURANCE ON ANY ONE ENTRY IS $300.00. Nevertheless, insurance value cannot be higher than the sales price. Additional insurance value is assumed by the artist.
Sales
All prices will be listed. To encourage sales it is suggested that artists price their work at a minimum. When no sales price stated on the entry form it will be assumed to be NOT FOR SALE. A 25% commission on all sales made through this exhibition whether accepted by the jury or not is charged.
Entry Cards
Must be properly filled in COMPLETELY and attached securely to the upper left hand corner on the back of the picture and on the underside of sculpture. Fill out section 1A, 1B, and 1C for each individual piece entered. DO NOT DETACH ANY PORTION. Section C will be given to you or your agent upon delivery and must be presented to reclaim work.
Entry Fee
A fee of $3.00 for the first entry and $1.00 for each additional entry (maximum of 5) will be charged for handling cost. Fees are payable to Fine Arts Fiesta at the time of delivery and are not refunded.

- Honorable mention awards.
NOTE - The show will be hung by the Visual Arts Committee and will remain so for the duration of the exhibition. The decision of the judge is always FINAL.
Rules & Agreement
Awards Presentation
Fine Arts Fiesta Main Stage, Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, PA; Thursday, May 14, 2026; 6:30 p.m.; poster contest winners followed by student and adult awards. All artists are invited to attend. After the awards ceremony there will be an artists meet and greet under the adult tent.
Agreement
It is understood that submission of any entry to this exhibition is an agreement on the part of the exhibitor to the conditions set forth above.
It is agreed that the artist is solely responsible for the content of the artwork. The artist agrees to indemnify the Fine Arts Fiesta and to hold it harmless for and from any claims made because of the content of the artwork including but not limited to claims for invasion of privacy, defamation and infringement of copy right or trademark.
Artwork not picked up by May 20, 2026 shall become the sole property of Fine Arts Fiesta. After May 20, 2026, it shall be presumed that the artist has abandoned his or her artwork, and the artist shall therefore forfeit all ownership claims to any and all artwork provided by the artist.
Fine Arts Fiesta may, at its discretion, without further notification to the artist, sell or dispose of any or all of such artist’s artwork with no compensation due to the artist and without liability of any kind.
